Shipping Times
The “Ships In” timeframe at checkout indicates when your order is scheduled to leave our warehouse. Most items in your order will ship together for a streamlined delivery experience.
QuickShip: Items in stock typically deliver in 10–15 business days from our US warehouse.
Made-to-Order: Custom pieces are delivered within 8–12 weeks, with updates provided throughout the process.
After dispatch, delivery usually occurs within 15 business days, depending on your location. Rural or remote areas may require an additional two to three days.
Note: Delivery times may be impacted by events such as severe weather or natural disasters. We will notify you promptly if your delivery is affected. Once your order ships, you’ll receive an email with tracking details so you can monitor your shipment in real time. Estimated shipping windows are also available on our Track My Order page.
Please note: Shipping is currently unavailable to Hawaii and Alaska.
Shipping Fees
Our shipping fees are based on the product's total value before taxes and promotions. The shipping charges applied to your order follow this fee structure and do not directly represent the actual carrier costs, as we cover a significant portion of the shipping expense.. Any applicable taxes, duties, or customs fees will be displayed transparently at checkout.
Delivery Methods
FedEx Delivery
Used for smaller items such as lighting and dining chairs. This service is fast, reliable, and offers delivery seven days a week to residential addresses (Monday–Saturday for commercial). If no signature is required, the package may be left at your doorstep.
Our standard curbside delivery is designed to provide a streamlined and cost-effective solution for getting your items to you quickly and safely. If you require additional services such as in-home delivery or assembly, please consider our White Glove Delivery option.
Delivery can take up to 15 business days from when the order leaves our California warehouse to the final destination.
IMPORTANT
- An adult (18+) must be present at the time of delivery to sign for the order.
- Our partnered carriers focus on delivering your order to the curb and will not enter your property or premises.
- They will not move items into the lobby, up steps/stairs, or to the front door.
- Delivery does not include entering apartment buildings.
- Assembly of items or removal of packaging materials is not included.
- Pallets will not be broken down into individual items.
White Glove Delivery
Available in select ZIP codes, this premium service includes in-home delivery, unpacking, assembly (if required), and removal of all packaging. If eligible, this option will appear at checkout.
Missed Deliveries
FedEx (Signature Required): If you’re unavailable, FedEx will attempt delivery the next business day.
curbside delivery & White Glove: You are entitled to one complimentary rescheduling. If the second scheduled appointment is missed, a $100 USD rescheduling fee will apply.
Defective Products (Non-Shipping Related Issues)
We guarantee the quality of every item before shipment. If you experience a product defect not related to shipping, please notify us within 30 days of delivery by contacting steven@maxmodern.com and provide:
Your order number
Description of the issue
Clear photos or videos of the defect
After verification, Maxmodern will arrange a replacement or repair in line with our warranty policy. Replacements for verified manufacturing defects are shipped within 15 business days.
Note: Defective products are eligible only for replacement of the same item (style, color, finish). Refunds or exchanges for alternative products are not available in these cases.
